CONFIGURATION

Audi C8 RS6 Avant & RS7 Sportback Valved Cat-Back Exhaust System

Full Titanium System with Electronic Valve Control & Integrated X-Pipe

Overview

The C8 RS6/RS7 pairs long-distance comfort with serious pace—but the factory exhaust keeps the 4.0L twin-turbo V8 far too quiet. The Valvetronic Designs Titanium Valved Cat-Back transforms the experience, delivering a raw, motorsport-inspired soundtrack with the valves open, and a refined, grand-touring tone with the valves closed.

Crafted entirely from titanium and engineered around a large cross-section X-pipe, this system improves exhaust scavenging and throttle response while staying drone-free in either mode. For maximum presence and performance, pair it with our free-flow front bypass pipes.

Note: Valve simulators are recommended on this platform to prevent CELs related to factory valve monitoring. Contact our support team for guidance.

Why It Works

  • Titanium Construction: Significant weight reduction and rapid heat dissipation for sharper response.

  • Large Cross-Section X-Pipe: Enhances scavenging for a cleaner, more exotic tone.

  • Full-System Tuning: Designed as a cohesive cat-back for consistent sound quality and fitment.

Sound & Control

  • Valves Open: Full-bodied V8 aggression, pronounced midrange, and a sharper top-end note.

  • Valves Closed: Subtle, composed tone ideal for daily use and highway cruising.

  • Bypass Pipes (Optional): Unlock maximum volume and presence when combined with the cat-back.

Construction & Options

  • Material: Lightweight titanium throughout.

  • Weight Savings: 61.5 lb lighter than the factory exhaust.

  • Craftsmanship: Precision TIG welds and smooth, high-flow routing for durability and performance.

  • Tips: Premium tips designed to complement the RS6/RS7 rear aesthetics.

Fitment

ECU tuning is the process of adjusting the engine control unit's software to enhance vehicle performance, efficiency, or fuel economy.

It can, depending on the manufacturer. Many warranties do not cover modifications like ECU tuning.

Use the highest octane fuel recommended for your specific tune to ensure optimal performance and safety.

Yes, a properly tuned car can be used daily, as long as the tune is tailored for reliable, everyday driving.

CPC (Central Powertrain Controller) and TCU (Transmission Control Unit) manage your vehicle's powertrain and transmission systems, respectively.

Map switching allows you to change between different tuning settings (maps) for varying driving conditions without having to retune the ECU.

Yes, if done by a professional using proper tools, ECU tuning is generally safe for your vehicle.

ECU tuning works by modifying the software that controls engine parameters like fuel mixture, ignition timing, and boost pressure to optimize performance.

The process of installing a tune depends on the vehicle’s make and model. Some tunes are installed by connecting a tuning device to your car’s OBD-II port and uploading the tuned software, others may require ECU unlock.

Stage 1 is for vehicles with no modifications, stage 2 is for vehicles with bolt-on upgrades or downpipes installed.

We offer post-installation support, troubleshooting, and guidance on using your tuning software and hardware.

Choose tuning software that is compatible with your vehicle, has good reviews, and suits your performance goals (e.g., reliability vs. max power).
