Corvette C8 Z06 Valved Sport Exhaust System

Bringing Exotic Drama Back to America’s Flat-Plane Masterpiece

Unleash the True Voice of the Z06

The flat-plane crank Corvette C8 Z06 proves that American engineering can rival Europe’s finest. Out of the box, it offers a Ferrari 458–like tone, but it holds back the rawness and drama that make an exotic truly unforgettable.

At Valvetronic Designs, we’ve developed a valved sport exhaust system to elevate the Z06’s soundtrack to world-class levels—restoring the aggression, volume, and emotion this engine was born to deliver.

Two Personalities, Total Control

  • Valves Open: Experience the C8 Z06 at its most unrestrained—ferocious, exotic, and spine-tingling all the way to redline.

  • Valves Closed: Diverts flow through side mufflers for a refined, neighbor-friendly tone ideal for early mornings and long drives.

  • Free-Flow Option: For those who want maximum volume and intensity, our free-flow configuration takes the Z06’s voice to extreme levels—recommended for only the most daring enthusiasts.

Performance & Craftsmanship

  • Material Options: Choose T304 stainless steel for robust durability or Grade 5 titanium for maximum weight savings and an even sharper tone.

  • Weight Reduction: Titanium system is 47.8 lbs lighter than factory.

  • Precision TIG Welding: Ensures long-lasting strength and a flawless finish.

  • Perfect Fitment: Fully mandrel-bent tubing for optimal flow, designed to connect directly to OEM or aftermarket downpipes.

  • Tip Options: Includes a set of stunning 4" burnt single-wall titanium tips, or reuse the factory tip outlets for a stealthier appearance.

Fitment

  • 2023+ Chevrolet Corvette C8 Z06

Installation Notes

  • We recommend replacing all GM Part Number 23194206 gaskets during installation for optimal sealing.

  • System integrates with OEM exhaust valve controls for factory-like operation.

    • Valvetronic Designs recommends all customers installing our Z06 system to work with your local GM to perform the valve relearn procedures to ensure the factory valves will perform as intended.

The C8 Z06 is already a performance icon—but with the Valvetronic Designs Valved Sport Exhaust System, it becomes a true exotic in both performance and sound. Whether you want refined control or unfiltered aggression, this system gives your Z06 the personality it deserves.

ECU tuning is the process of adjusting the engine control unit's software to enhance vehicle performance, efficiency, or fuel economy.

It can, depending on the manufacturer. Many warranties do not cover modifications like ECU tuning.

Use the highest octane fuel recommended for your specific tune to ensure optimal performance and safety.

Yes, a properly tuned car can be used daily, as long as the tune is tailored for reliable, everyday driving.

CPC (Central Powertrain Controller) and TCU (Transmission Control Unit) manage your vehicle's powertrain and transmission systems, respectively.

Map switching allows you to change between different tuning settings (maps) for varying driving conditions without having to retune the ECU.

Yes, if done by a professional using proper tools, ECU tuning is generally safe for your vehicle.

ECU tuning works by modifying the software that controls engine parameters like fuel mixture, ignition timing, and boost pressure to optimize performance.

The process of installing a tune depends on the vehicle’s make and model. Some tunes are installed by connecting a tuning device to your car’s OBD-II port and uploading the tuned software, others may require ECU unlock.

Stage 1 is for vehicles with no modifications, stage 2 is for vehicles with bolt-on upgrades or downpipes installed.

We offer post-installation support, troubleshooting, and guidance on using your tuning software and hardware.

Choose tuning software that is compatible with your vehicle, has good reviews, and suits your performance goals (e.g., reliability vs. max power).
