Ferrari F8 Titanium Valved Exhaust System

3.0" Free-Flow Front Pipes • X-Pipe Valved Rear • Grade 5 Titanium

Overview

The 3.9L twin-turbo V8 in the Ferrari F8 is devastatingly quick—but the stock exhaust leaves too much emotion on the table. The Valvetronic Designs Titanium Valved Exhaust System unlocks the voice this platform deserves: sharper turbo spool, deeper V8 character, and a thrilling top-end without sacrificing daily civility.

This system pairs 3.0" mandrel-bent free-flow front pipes with a valved rear section featuring an X-pipe and titanium tips. The result is a dramatic increase in clarity, response, and exotic tone from idle to redline.

Sound & Control

  • Valves Open: Exhaust flow passes through the X-pipe with minimal restriction, amplifying turbo whistle and delivering a rich, aggressive V8 note with crisp overrun.

  • Valves Closed: Gases are routed through a compact diversion path with a resonator to moderate cold-start volume and maintain refined drivability—perfect for city use, early mornings, and long highway stretches.

  • Valve Operation: Vacuum-actuated valves with controller provide factory-like behavior and instant open/close control.

Engineering Highlights

  • 3.0" Free-Flow Front Pipes: Reduce backpressure right out of the turbos for faster spool and improved throttle response.

  • X-Pipe Rear Section: Harmonizes pulses across banks for a cleaner, higher-quality tone.

  • Optimized Closed-Mode Path: Resonated bypass smooths cold start and part-throttle operation while minimizing drone.

Construction & Craftsmanship

  • Material: Grade 5 titanium with our signature Blue Burnt finish.

  • Weight Savings: 6.7 lb lighter than the factory exhaust (titanium version).

  • Build Quality: Precision TIG welds for strength, flow, and durability.

  • Reversible: 100% bolt-on; return to stock at any time.

Fitment

  • 2019–2023 Ferrari F8 (Tributo / Spider)

Installation Notes

  • For CEL mitigation on high-flow setups, we recommend the Novitec Tectronic module.

  • Professional installation is recommended.

ECU tuning is the process of adjusting the engine control unit's software to enhance vehicle performance, efficiency, or fuel economy.

It can, depending on the manufacturer. Many warranties do not cover modifications like ECU tuning.

Use the highest octane fuel recommended for your specific tune to ensure optimal performance and safety.

Yes, a properly tuned car can be used daily, as long as the tune is tailored for reliable, everyday driving.

CPC (Central Powertrain Controller) and TCU (Transmission Control Unit) manage your vehicle's powertrain and transmission systems, respectively.

Map switching allows you to change between different tuning settings (maps) for varying driving conditions without having to retune the ECU.

Yes, if done by a professional using proper tools, ECU tuning is generally safe for your vehicle.

ECU tuning works by modifying the software that controls engine parameters like fuel mixture, ignition timing, and boost pressure to optimize performance.

The process of installing a tune depends on the vehicle’s make and model. Some tunes are installed by connecting a tuning device to your car’s OBD-II port and uploading the tuned software, others may require ECU unlock.

Stage 1 is for vehicles with no modifications, stage 2 is for vehicles with bolt-on upgrades or downpipes installed.

We offer post-installation support, troubleshooting, and guidance on using your tuning software and hardware.

Choose tuning software that is compatible with your vehicle, has good reviews, and suits your performance goals (e.g., reliability vs. max power).
